DAWIT TABONARES

Dawit is an aspiring comedian and actor who was born and raised in Cebu. He moved to Manila to pursue stand-up comedy because, as he said, Cebu has no stand-up, only videokes.

He is also half-Ethiopian and half-Filipino, which makes for a very unique backdrop for his comedy where family, relationships, the search for his biological father, and the differences between Cebuano-Tagalog culture are often discussed.
